80KN fog type zinc sleeve suspension insulator description:
80KN anti-pollution suspension insulator is a special kind of porcelain disc suspension insulator. They are designed with deep grooves which increases the protected creepage and creepage distance, which are more suitable for operation near the coast or on high polluted areas. These insulators can be provided with zinc-sleeve pins.

The connection way of 80KN fog type zinc sleeve suspension insulator:
Ball & socket type insulator, completed with the spilt cotter key.
Clevis and tongue type insulator, completed with hump type cotter key.
Zinc sleeve for fog type insulator:
In order to have stronger protection of the insulator and have better electrical performance, the pin of the insulator can be fitted with zinc sleeve, and this is to apply a ring of the zinc on the steel pin.
Creepage distance of fog type 80KN suspension insulator:
Normal suspension high voltage insulator such as U80BL, ANSI52-3 has a creepage distance of 295mm, but anti-pollution type normally increase the creepage distance to 432mm.
